Perjantain festivaaliklubilla heittäydytään tarttuvan rytmin, elektronisten soundien ja täydellisen läsnäolon aaltoihin.

Illan käynnistää Suomen rytmimusiikin huipusta koostuva Ilkka Arola Sound Tagine, joka soittaa tunteikasta ja seikkailullista musiikkia täynnä vastustamattoman groovaavia maailmoja. Yhtyeen vahvasti visuaaliset sävellykset yhdistelevät kansanmusiikkia ja jazzia pop- ja elokuvamusiikin elementteihin – erityisen vahvoina musiikissa kuuluvat Lähi-idän mausteet. Tuoreimmalla albumillaan Adventures in the Now (2025) yhtye syleilee 70-luvun psykedeelistä ethno-jazz-fuusiota sekä turkkilaista funkia. Pääosin livenä taltioitu musiikki paitsi kutsuu kuulijansa tanssilattialle, myös sukeltaa hetkessä elämisen taikaan, vaaraan ja improvisaatioon.

Live-energian jälkeen ilta jatkuu tanssilattialla oululaislähtöisen elektronisen musiikin tuottajan ja artistin AIDA O:n DJ-setillä. Trancesta, vaihtoehtopopista, housesta ja hyperpopista vaikutteensa poimiva AIDA O inspiroituu self-loven sekä klubimusiikin loppumattomasta voimasta. Queer-näkyvyyttä ja trans-iloa musiikissaan käsittelevän artistin setti kutsuu sinut tulemaan sellaisena kuin olet, tuntemaan olosi vapaaksi ja heittäytymään musiikin vietäväksi - tilassa, jossa jokainen voi tulla nähdyksi.

Friday’s Festival Club invites you to surrender to the waves of infectious rhythms, electronic sounds, and total presence.

The night kicks off with Ilkka Arola Sound Tagine, a group consisting of top musicians from the Finnish rhythmic music scene. The band plays emotional and adventurous music full of irresistibly catchy grooves. Their highly visual compositions combine folk and jazz expression with elements of pop and film music, with Middle Eastern flavors playing an especially strong role. On their latest album, Adventures in the Now (2025), the group embraces 70s psychedelic ethno-jazz fusion and Turkish funk. Recorded mostly live to capture the magic and danger of improvisation, their music invites listeners to the dance floor while diving deep into the power of raw presence.

Following the live energy, the night continues on the dance floor with a DJ set by AIDA O, an electronic music producer and artist originally from Oulu. Drawing influences from turn-of-the-millennium trance, alternative pop, house, and contemporary hyperpop, AIDA O is inspired by the endless power of self-love and club music. Infusing themes of queer visibility and trans joy into her work, her set is an open invitation to come as you are, feel free, and lose yourself in the music - in a space where everyone is welcome to be seen.
