Hämärän asteet rohkaisee astumaan syvemmälle sävelten maailmaan, jossa menneisyys ja nykyhetki kietoutuvat yhteen.
George Crumbin Dream Images – Love-Death Music, Franz Schubertin 3 Gesänge des Harfners, sekä Robert Schumannin Lieder und Gesänge aus Wilhelm Meister, muodostavat runollisen matkan, jonka huipentumana kuulemme kaksi maailman kantaesitystä. Baritoni Halvor Melien ja pianisti Sanae Yoshida luovat Ojanperän halliin maailman, jossa aika pysähtyy.
Teoksen Und ich werde weitergehen kantaesitys tuo uutta eloa J. W. Goethen Harfenspieler-tekstiin. Oyvind Mælandin sävellys yhdistää perinteistä ja modernia, hyödyntäen mikrotonaalisuutta ja pianon kieliä, jotka pianisti Sanae Yoshida virittää teokseen syvällisellä osaamisellaan.
Lisäksi kuulemme Lisa Streichin Mignon Songs -kantaesityksen, joka jatkaa Harfenspieler-tekstin kertomaa tarinaa omalla ainutlaatuisella sävelkielellään.

“The Degrees of Twilight” encourages delving deeper into the world of melodies, where past and present intertwine.
George Crumb's Dream Images – Love-Death Music, Franz Schubert's 3 Gesänge des Harfners, and Robert Schumann's Lieder und Gesänge aus Wilhelm Meister form a poetic journey, culminating in the premiere of two world premieres. Baritone Halvor Melien and pianist Sanae Yoshida create a world in Ojanperä Hall where time stands still.
The premiere of the piece "Und ich werde weitergehen" breathes new life into J. W. Goethe's Harfenspieler text. Oyvind Mæland's composition combines traditional and modern elements, utilizing microtonality and piano strings, which pianist Sanae Yoshida tunes with her profound expertise.
Additionally, we will hear the premiere of Lisa Streich's Mignon Songs, which continues the story told by the Harfenspieler text in her own unique musical language.
